Open Rolla, choose the rolling animation style and speed, and apply it. To float the animation over your home screen, Android will ask you to allow ‘Draw over other apps’ — grant it in settings, and you can turn it off anytime.
Rolla applies a custom icon by creating a home-screen shortcut with your chosen design. The original app stays in your app drawer; you can remove the shortcut anytime. This is how Android lets personalization apps change icons without modifying other apps.
That's normal on Android — the original icon remains in the app drawer, and some launchers add a small badge to shortcuts. You can remove the original from your home screen and keep the Rolla shortcut.
Only the rolling animation uses the ‘Draw over other apps’ permission, to show icons floating over your home screen. Nothing is recorded, and you can revoke it in Settings → Apps → Rolla → Permissions.
Open the Wallpapers gallery, pick one and tap Apply — Rolla uses Android's Set Wallpaper permission to set it as your background.
The app is free and supported by ads. Any optional paid features are processed through Google Play Billing with the price shown before you buy; manage purchases in the Google Play Store under Payments & subscriptions.
Decline the in-app consent prompt if it appeared, and/or reset or opt out of your Advertising ID via Android Settings → Privacy → Ads. Clearing app data lets the prompt appear again.
Clear the app's storage (Settings → Apps → Rolla → Storage → Clear data) or uninstall to remove on-device settings. To request deletion of data held by us or our partners, email us and we'll respond within 30 days.
